How to order and General Terms and Conditions

Firstly, we appreciate your interest in Swissflies.

If your selected pattern or fly tying material is sold out, email us at sales@swissflies.ch and we will do our best to tie or to get hold of what you need.

Please note that we keep only a small stock. There may be some waiting time until the flies are made.

Necessary information on how to order can be found below.

For international orders, please provide the telephone number of the person placing the order to sales@swissflies.ch (required for customs documents).

How to order directly via internet/ Paypal

Use the Paypal order buttons until your Paypal cart contains everything you need. Payment is via Paypal account or credit card.

For shipping and handling, we charge Sfr. 3.50.
Orders of Sfr. 100.- or more, are sent free of charge.
For parcels outside Switzerland, the minimal order value is Fr./€/$ 100.-.

If the stock is exhausted, contact sales@swissflies.ch.We can then discuss on how to proceed.

Warranty Swissflies

All flies are tied by specialists on high quality barbless hooks in order to fulfil your highest needs. In view of the natural material and handcraft, minor differences to the illustration shown may occur. If you are not happy with any pattern, do not hesitate to send it (unfished) back. We offer money back or exchange of the flies. Please add an envelope for exchange.

The original collector flies in the category "Swiss fly tiers" are sent to you as tied by the fly tying masters. Please note that they may be tied on barbed hooks as it was common in these ays.

Legal provisions

Please note that Swissflies and the fly tiers of Swissflies, as far a specific pattern is their invention, own all intellectual property rights on the patterns and their names. Swissflies as sole proprietor owns furthermore all rights on the displayed historical flies, which were bought from the successors of the original tiers including all rights. Remakes of these flies are therefore permitted only for strictly personal use. Any commercial remake without written permission of Swissflies is seen as an infringement of the mentioned rights and will be prosecuted worldwide.

General Terms and Conditions

• Prices:
  Our prices are net prices; the price at the time of ordering always applies, even for subsequent deliveries.

• Ordering:
  Please send us your orders in writing, by email or directly via PayPal buttons.

• Shipping costs:
  For goods that can be sent by letter post, we charge CHF 3.50; standard shipments over CHF 100.00 are free of charge. Express delivery: Switzerland: CHF 12.00

• International delivery:
  The customer is responsible for any customs duties incurred.

• Refusal of delivery
  Swissflies may refuse delivery to certain persons or companies, namely if they are known to not adhere to the principles of sustainable use and ethical behaviour towards fish as living creatures. Other reasons for refusal of delivery may include late payment or poor creditworthiness.

• Exchanges:
  If you are not satisfied with an item, you can exchange it within two weeks. Returns are always free of charge. You can choose between receiving an exchange (enclose a stamped return envelope), a credit note or your money back.

• Retention of title:
  The delivered goods remain our property until full payment has been received (enforceable retention of title).

• Purchasing conditions of the customer:
  The purchaser's terms and conditions of purchase that conflict with our General Terms and Conditions are not binding on us. This also applies if they form the basis of the order and we have not expressly objected to their content.

• Place of jurisdiction:
  The place of jurisdiction is Bern.

• Late payment:
  All our invoices are due for payment immediately. If payment is more than 10 days late, we charge interest on arrears of 1.5% per month.

• Acknowledgement:
  By making a purchase, every customer accepts our terms and conditions. Wholesalers and specialist fishing tackle shops can request our resale conditions.
