Pike streamers

Streamer fishing for pike is probably one of the most exciting in fly fishing.

It is often much more successful than fishing with spoons or wobblers, as streamers can be retrieved very slowly.

It also works very well with a spinning rod. Tip: Attach a 5–10g Cheburashka jig head.

fishing for pike with streamers: The right tackle is important!

For pike fishing with streamers, a sturdy rod is recommended

For fly fishing, I use an 8-weight rod with good backbone to ensure a solid strike.

An intermediate line that is as transparent as possible is best suited.

This does not spook the pike and takes the lure to the correct depth.

A steel leader or hard mono is also advisable.
